UPDATE: Get ya popcorn ready, it's Hall of Fame weekend in the Scenic City.

"Well, I can't be more grateful, you know, for the University of Tennessee Chattanooga for affording me the opportunity to receive one of the greatest honors right here where it all began," Owens said

But before Terrell Owens takes the stage at 3:17 pm sharp Saturday at McKenzie Arena, he had some business to take care of first. And, that was taking the young men from the Boys to Men organization here in Chattanooga on a little shopping spree.

Each kid was given $125 to and grab whatever they wanted off the shelves at Dick's Sporting Goods, and Channel 3 caught up with T.O. beforehand to see what it meant to do something nice for the kids, but also what this whole weekend means to him.

"I don't know where I would be today if it wasn't for those opportunities. And so for me to be here and to accomplish what I've accomplished and come back and give back to the community, especially surrounding the honor of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, number one, it means a lot, not only to myself but obviously to this community."

Channel 3 is the place to be for Hall of Fame weekend. Follow along Saturday as we'll have everything you need to know for T.O.'s big day.
