Good Tuesday.  Heat and humidity will be our weather focus for the next couple of days as a ridge of high pressure builds in really limiting the amount of thunderstorms.  Today we will climb to 93 in Chattanooga with the heat index reaching the upper 90s.  Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy and I won't rule out one or two storms breaking through during the afternoon.  The rain chance today is 20%.

Your 4th of July will be about what you expect.  The high pressure will remain in control meaning the heat/humidity machine will be in full force with the high soaring to 95 and the heat index close to 100.  We only have a 10% chance for a stray shower.  You should have no problems for your fireworks displays tomorrow night.

Thursday will be a little less hot with a high of 90 and a slight chance for showers.

Friday through the weekend will be a little cooler with highs in the mid 80s and some scattered showers on and off through the weekend.
