Passenger arrested at Chattanooga airport
An airline passenger wakes up in jail instead of his destination Friday.
Nicholas Todd Hanson was arrested Thursday night at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport for Criminal Trespassing.
Around 8:15 p.m Chattanooga Police were called to the airport to deal with an unruly passenger.
When they arrived they found Hanson talking with an airline employee.
Officers told Hanson he needed to leave the building.
Police were called back roughly 30 minutes later and found Hanson at the ticket counter being argumentative and telling the airline employee they needed to pay for his hotel room.
Again officers told Hanson he needed to leave or he would be arrested.
An hour later, police were called a third time to come to the airport as Hanson had returned.
He was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail. He is due in court mid-July.
