Bethel Bible Village cleaning up after storms
All of the recent storms have left folks with a lot to clean up, especially form trees that have fallen.
In Hixson, several trees were knocked over at Bethel Bible Village during the storms. Most of the damage there has already been cleaned up.
Luckily, none of the trees fell on any homes on the property.
Tuesday, a crew of around 15 middle and high schools students spent the day helping clean up debris.
Staff Bethel Bible Village said they can't remember the last time they had this much damage day after day from storms.
"This seems like this is the worst it's been in a long time, Director of Support Services Randy Speicher said. "We trees that'll fall occasionally, but not because of this. Wet grounds and high winds, not a good thing."
Ground crews are monitoring other trees on the property in hopes of cutting down any they think are at risk of falling.
