Escaped prisoner from Monroe Co. found, arrested in Bradley Co.
An escaped prisoner from Monroe County is now behind bars in Bradley County.
A Bradley County Sheriff's Office deputy took Terry L. Harris into custody after law enforcement personnel had been asked to be on the lookout for him.
Dispatch advised that Harris was possibly with his brother, John Moore, in a PT Cruiser and that Harris' phone had pinged at the Family Life Center on Stuart Road around 8:15 pm Tuesday.
Two deputies responded to the location. One said he saw a PT Cruiser at a gas station on Paul Huff Parkway, while in route, and approached it. When he did, the passenger got out with his hand in the air and said, "I guess you are looking for me."
The passenger was identified as Harris. There were two other people in the car. One was John Moore and the other was Jaren Moore. Warrants were issued for their arrests in Monroe County.
All three suspects were taken into custody.
