A series of severe thunderstorms pelted different parts of the Tennessee Valley, marking the third straight day of storms.

The Lake Shore area, in particular, was hit hard.

There are also power lines and trees down in that area. Fallen trees are causing issues on Waconda Shore Drive, Bayshore Drive and Wooten Road.

Other problems include a branch that is across the road on Shirley Pond Road, and limbs are on a power line on Meacham Lane.

EPB reported "significant" outages Monday afternoon in the Highway 58/Harrison area. Around 1,500 customers in that area are in the dark.
