Monday night, the Chattanooga Times Free Press is hosting a forum for candidates seeking to be the next governor of Tennessee.

The event will run from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in the University Center’s Tennessee Room. A meet and greet with the candidates will follow the 90-minute forum.

Republicans Randy Boyd and Bill Lee and Democrats Karl Dean and Representative Craig Fitzhugh are expected to attend. Republican Beth Harwell is going to try to be there. U.S. Representative Diane Black was also invited, but she has not responded.

There are no more tickets for the event, but you can still register to watch a live stream of the event at another location.

"You also can stand in the Tennessee Room and, if there are seats available, they’ll be handed out in a first-come-first-serve basis," an event spokesperson explained.

Questions can also be submitted before the forum by emailing the Times Free Press or by using the hashtag #TFPforum on Twitter. You can also post questions on the newspaper's Facebook page.
