Keep your umbrella handy! It won't rain all day everyday this week, but storms will be popping up.

Scattered storms across the Tennessee Valley this afternoon will fade tonight, especially after sunset. The rest of the night will be warm and muggy with a few clouds and lows in the lower 70s.

Scattered storms will develop again on Monday. Wind damage could occur in a few neighborhoods. Highs will reach the lower 90s, but it will feel like middle to upper 90s because of the humidity. Storms again should fade after sunset with lows in the lower 70s.

Storms will be few and far between on Tuesday, but could become widespread on Wednesday. Then another dangerous heat wave returns with highs in the middle 90s Thursday-Saturday with a heat index each day around 100°. Stay hydrated and try not to overdo it when spending time outdoors.

MONDAY:

  • 8AM...73°, Few Clouds
  • 12PM...Partly Cloudy, 85°
  • 5PM...Storm Possible, 91°
