Severe storms made their way through the Tennessee Valley Saturday afternoon.

The storms knocked power out for thousands and left damage throughout the area.

In Cleveland, trees fell on two homes.

Bradley County Fire and Rescue told Channel 3 that the homes were located on Rolling Brook Drive and Spring Place Road.

No one was injured.

A tree also fell on a building at the Rise at Signal Mountain apartment complex on Mountain Creek Road in Chattanooga. There are no reports of injuries at this time.

Also in the Scenic City, weather disrupted preparations for Sunday's Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon. People were waiting in line to register for Sunday's event when the storm ripped through.

Channel 3's Tim Pham was at the riverfront where registration was taking place.

Pham said, "it was very scary. The storm moved through really fast."

Volunteers have been working to clean up the mess the storm left behind on the riverfront.
