Electric scooter likely caused fire that damaged Cleveland home
An electric scooter plugged in on a front porch likely sparked a fire in Cleveland, according to the Bradley County Fire Department.
Chief Shawn Fairbanks told Channel 3 the fire happened around 11:30 Saturday morning on Bent Tree Drive.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they said the fire had already destroyed the front porch and spread to the attic.
Firefighters said there's at least $12,000 worth of damage.
