UPDATE: Chattanooga Police responded to two shootings Saturday morning.

Around 3:30 am, officers were called to the 1000 block of North Willow Street on a report of a person shot.

Officers found a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators were able to locate a crime scene and speak with the girl about the shooting.

Another shooting happened in the 4100 block of Fagan Street.

Officers responded to person shot call around 4:30 am. 

CPD Public Information Officer Rob Simmons explained that 911 was called from East 47th Street to help the victim, who was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He told officers that he was a passenger in a vehicle when he was shot.

Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating both shootings.

The first shooting happened around 3:30am at N. Willow St. According to dispatch, one person was transported from the scene to a hospital with a gunshot wound. That scene cleared between 5:30am and 6am.

The second shooting was at E. 47th St. about an hour later, at 4:30am. According to dispatch, one person was transported from E. 47th St. to a hospital. That scene cleared between 6:30am and 7am.

Channel 3 was on the scene of both shootings. At this time, we do not know if they are connected.
