One of America’s oldest World War II veterans stopped by Channel 3 on Thursday.

Sidney Walton, who is 99 years old, is on a journey to visit all 50 states.

During that time, he will meet with every governor.

Tuesday, Walton met Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam before making his way to Chattanooga for a public meet and greet on Thursday.

Walton plans to finish his journey with one more stop on February 11, which is his 100th birthday.

His destination: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"What are your plans? Are you going to meet President Trump?” asked Paul, Walton’s son.

“Yes, I would like to,” replied Walton.
