Roads closing for June 22-24
Friday, June 22nd
Nightfall - Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 pm until 12:00 midnight on Friday, June 22, 2018. This closure will be in effect each Friday night through August 31.
West Village Out on 8th - W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street will be closed from 2 pm until 8AM on Saturday, June 22.
This closure will be in effect each Friday night through October 27, 2018.
Saturday, June 23rd, 2018
CFC Soccer Match - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 12:00 pm until midnight on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
West Village Street Festivals- Pine Street will be closed to through traffic between W 6th Street and W. ML King Street; additionally W 7th Street will be closed to through traffic at Chestnut Street and
W 8th Street between Pine Street and Chestnut Street from 8AM - Midnight each Saturday through January 19, 2019.
Sunday, June 24th, 2018
Chattanooga Market - Reggie White Boulevard will be closed from the entrance to the pavilion parking lot to W 19th Street from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm each Sunday through November 18.

2018 Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon Closures
Friday, June 22nd and Saturday, June 23
Starting Friday, June 22 at 9 AM Riverfront Pwky will be closed to all traffic from Power Ally to Chestnut St. for the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon setup and packet pickup, which will occur Saturday from 12 PM- 5 PM.
Sunday, June 24
Beginning at 3:30 AM on Sunday, June 24th the following closures will occur for the triathlon:
- Riverfront Pwky will be closed to all traffic from Molly Lane to Aquarium way and closed to through traffic from W. MLK to Molly Lane.
- The southbound off-ramp from Veterans Bridge to Riverfront Parkway will also be closed.
- The center lanes of Riverfront Pkwy, Riverside Drive, and Amnicola Hwy will remained blocked off to traffic during the race from Aquarium Way to just past the entrance to Chattanooga State Community College.
Chattanooga Police Department will be at all major intersections to help direct traffic. CDOT asks drivers in the outside lanes to only cross the center lanes at the signals where officers are directing traffic.
Roads will reopen at 3 PM with the exception of Riverfront Pkwy, Power Alley and Chestnut St.; they will reopen by 5 PM.
