LAS VEGAS (AP) - It isn't quite like the streets being paved with gold - more like a highway deluged with dimes.

A semi-trailer truck hauling $800,000 worth of dimes crashed into a guardrail on a Nevada interstate road, spilling thousands of coins on the roadside.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says the truck was heading south on I-15 about 50 miles from Las Vegas when it struck the guardrail early Tuesday morning.

Several bags split open, spilling the 10-cent pieces. State troopers set up a crime scene so a recovery team could collect the loose change.
