Dalton Police searching for smelly thieves
The Dalton Police Department is asking the community to help them identify some smelly thieves.
A male and a female were recorded on surveillance video stealing a large amount of pricey cologne and perfume from a drug store for the second time in two months.
The most recent theft happened on April 24 at the Walgreen's located at 1247 Walnut Avenue. It is the same store they had stolen from the first time.
Video shows the pair entering the store at around 2:25 pm. The black male and female entered the store and approached the unattended perfume and cologne area.
The male used a key to unlock the display. He accessed the cologne and perfume the same way the first time around on February 27.
The pair stole approximately $400 worth of product and left the store. They made off with more than $1,400 worth in February.
The female suspect is described as a heavyset black woman. She wore a navy blue jacket over a white shirt. The male wore a Nike baseball cap and a navy blue jacket over a collared shirt.
