UPDATE: Morning fire claims woman's life

BLEDSOE COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: A large fire claimed the life of a Bledsoe County woman Friday morning.

It happened on the 8700 block of Old State Highway 28 at a mobile home. 

Pikeville firefighters said when they arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed, with flames that could be seen from about a mile away.

The home was cordoned off by first responders for nearly nine hours as they gathered evidence to learn more about what happened.

PFD said the TBI, Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office and are investigating this incident.
