Good Thursday. You will notice the humidity a little higher stepping out this morning. You will also probably see some wet roads or even drive through a shower or storm on your way in. While today won't be a total washout, we can expect on again / off again showers and storms through the day. Even with the humidity rising, temps will still be in the low 80s, and very tolerable for the month of August.
Friday looks like a good start, but as low pressure moves through we will see a few spotty showers during the late morning and early afternoon. We will be a bit warmer with a high of 87. By Friday night all the rain will be gone.
The weekend will be warm and muggy with highs near 90, and only a slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm both days.
Next week we will settle into a pattern. A front will stall just to our south. That will be a rainmaker for much of the southeast, but for us only a few showers will move north into our area each day. As a result, we will see temps in the mid-80s and spotty showers and storms at least through Wednesday of next week.
