UPDATE: Water main break repaired on McCallie Ferry Road
A water main break that left more than 100 people without water Thursday has been repaired.
UPDATE: A Thursday morning water main break that left more than 100 people without water has been repaired, according to utility officials.
Residents in the affected area can expect slow water pressure for a short time, and should return to normal later today.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says there is a substantial water main break on McCallie Ferry Road.
Union Fork-Bakewell Utility personnel on scene have advised deputies that due to the break, McCallie Ferry Road at Dayton Pike will be closed until further notice.
Utility and TDOT personnel advise that one northbound lane of Dayton Pike at McCallie Ferry Road will be blocked for 1-3 days depending on the extent of the damage.
