Good Wednesday. Look for even more heat and humidity this afternoon with a high of 95 and a heat index of 100. I can't rule out a storm or two this afternoon. Thursday may not be as hot, but we will still make it to a muggy 91 with another slight chance for an isolated storm.
Friday is when things really start to change. A cold front will slide through bringing widespread rain and thunderstorms in during the late morning and through the afternoon. There is a slight risk of some severe storms Friday with the biggest threats coming from 60-70 mph wind gusts and isolated areas of hail. The rain will keep Friday's high in the mid-80s.
Behind the front our weather will improve quite a bit. Friday night we will see cooler and drier air moving in. Saturday and Sunday our highs will only make it into the mid to upper 80s. Combine that with lower humidity, and it should feel amazing both days of the weekend. Skies will be mostly sunny also.
