UPDATE: Shooting victim has "life-threatening injuries"

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Chattanooga police say that the victim in Tuesday night’s shooting is facing life-threatening injuries.

Investigators were able to determine that the incident took place at the Kanku's Express at 3604 Brainerd Road.

The victim arrived at a local hospital Tuesday night in personal vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga police say a shooting victim showed up at a local hospital Tuesday night.

Police confirm the victim was shot around 9:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Brainerd Road.

Police spokesperson Rob Simmons tells Channel 3, officers are investigating the events that led to the shooting.

The victim's condition is unknown.
