The last time the Atlanta Falcons were on the football field...well, you all remember.
There's no point dwelling on the Super Bowl, although it will be a huge topic of discussion going into training camp, which starts on Thursday.
The team reports on Wednesday, and then the first several practices of camp are open to the public.
Reigning NFL MVP Matt Ryan returns with nearly all of last season's explosive offense intact. On the defensive side of the ball, the Falcons are healthy and have added new pieces including defensive lineman Dontari Poe and first-round draft pick Takk McKinley.
Few things to know about going to camp: parking is across the street from the Flowery Branch facility at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex and CW Davis Middle School across the street. Those with handicap parking permits will be able to park in the Falcons' lot. There are typically shuttles running from the parking lot to the practice field.
Shirts and shoes are required. Fans can bring sun screen, small coolers and snacks (no alcohol). Still cameras without flash are allowed, but no video cameras.
