Good Thursday. The heat and humidity will remain the story through Saturday, then we will get a little cooler with our chances for widespread rain increasing heading into next week.

Today will be hot and muggy with a high of 93° and a heat index between 95° and 98°.  Do expect isolated thunderstorms on this afternoon.

Friday will sport a high of 95°, and the heat index will climb above 100° during the heat of the day.  It will be a little tougher for the storms to do that on Friday, but I can't completely rule out one or two.

Saturday the high will return to 93°, but humidity levels will be extremely high and the heat index should still climb to about 100° during the heat of the day. We will see scattered showers and storms Saturday afternoon.

Sunday marks a change in our weather as it will not be as hot with a high of 88°. We will see afternoon showers and storms increasing in coverage as we move into Sunday night.

Highs will stay in the mid to upper 80s with rain likely to start off next week.
