The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is asking for the public’s help with finding the driver involved in a deadly hit and run in Coffee County Monday.
It happened in the 10,000 block of Highway 41.
The victim was hit and killed while checking his mailbox.
THP spokesperson Lt. John Harmon says vehicle debris was found at the scene, along with a side mirror matching an older model Mitsubishi Galant.
Lt. Harmon says the suspected vehicle matching the description was captured on surveillance video near the scene just after the incident occurred.
