NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Gaylord Opryland will be hosting a brand new Broadway show for its 34th annual "A Country Christmas."

"Cirque Dreams Holidaze" will showcase 20 acts and feature original music and seasonal favorites at the Grand Ole Opry.

Diamond Rio will be hosting this year's dinner show at Opryland. The Grammy Award-winning group has sold more than 10 million albums and became members of the Grand Ole Opry in 1998.

This year's theme for the ICE! attraction is "A Charlie Brown Christmas." The exhibit will include 2 million pounds of ice sculptures completed by 40 master artisans.

Workers are already starting to string the more than 3 million lights that are a part of the holiday decorations. They'll be switched on in November.

Opryland will also host an outdoor snow tubing hill covered in 1.5 million pounds of real snow.

Some fun facts about "A Country Christmas":

  • The exhibit features 3 million holiday lights
  • 1 million guests are expected to visit the resort
  • 15,000 poinsettias, 15 miles of green garland and 10 miles of hand-tied red ribbons will decorate Opryland
  • A 48-foot-tall Christmas tree will be a part of the festivities
  • 1.5 million pounds of real snow will be used on the snow tubing hill
  • Over 2 million pounds of ice will be used in the ICE! attraction

"A Country Christmas" runs from Nov. 10 through Jan. 1. Click here for more information.
