Late scoring leads CFC to 2-1 win over Nashville FC

Posted: Updated:

The Chattanooga Football Club knew it had to step up its scoring if it had any hopes of making the playoffs this season. And that's exactly what the boys in blue did Saturday night against Nashville FC.

Nashville jumped out to a 1-0 lead before the end of the first half, but then Chattanooga countered with two goals in the second half. The first goal was by Luke Winters, and the game winning goal came from a free kick by Danny Reynolds in the final minutes of the game.

The CFC now moves to 2-0-4 in league play. Chattanooga will return home Tuesday night to host the Birmingham Hammers. The Tuesday night game is free to the public.
