BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Kramer Robertson's three-hit game and Caleb Gilbert's five-plus innings of scoreless middle relief helped LSU clinch its 18th College World Series berth with a 14-4 victory over Mississippi State Sunday night in the NCAA tournament's Baton Rouge super regional. The Tigers, winners of 16 straight and 21 of 23, seized control of game with a six-run fifth. Rain delayed the start of the game and interrupted play twice more before it ended at 1:36 a.m. local time.

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Evan Skoug homered for the second straight day, Brian Howard extended an impressive postseason pitching streak and TCU advanced to its fourth consecutive College World Series with an 8-1 super regional victory over Missouri State Sunday night. Skoug's two-run homer gave the Horned Frogs a 4-1 lead in the third inning.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Taylor Walls had two home runs and three Florida State pitchers teamed up for a four-hitter as the Seminoles are back in the College World Series for the first time since 2012 after their 19-0 super-regional win over Sam Houston State Sunday night. The Seminoles who had 13 hits among 10 players, had four home runs.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Stanley Cup is returning to Pittsburgh after Patric Hornqvist scored the go-ahead goal on a bad-angle shot with 95 seconds left in a 2-0 win over the Nashville Predators in Game 6. Carl Hagelin sealed the win by scoring into an empty net with 14 seconds left.
