Good Friday! We are bitterly cold this morning with lows in the 10s and 20s. We will be sunny and cold all day with highs struggling to get out of the 30s this afternoon. Tonight we see the cold air continuing to spill in as we drop back into the upper 10s and low 20s.
Saturday will be another cold and dry one. We will be a LITTLE warmer in the afternoon, but I would still keep the jacket close by. Highs will get into the mid-40s.
Sunday will start cold with a low of 27, then we will have south winds warming us into the low 50s. That warmer air will be ahead of a cold front that will push clouds through Sunday evening. By Monday morning that front will drive rain through the area. Some of the rain could be heavy at times. It will taper off during the afternoon, but one or two isolated showers could linger.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy and warm with a high of 54. Wednesday will see another Arctic front moving through offering up a chance for scattered showers. The type of precipitation will depend on exactly when the front moves in. Temps will be in the low 20s Wednesday morning, and we will climb to the mid-40s in the afternoon. Right now it looks as though it will be afternoon rain that we will be dealing with, but stay tuned for this one.
Thursday the next round of cold, dry air will be firmly in place with clear skies, lows in the low 20s, and highs in the upper 30s.
