CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
Chattanooga police are investigating a third shooting Tuesday evening after a victim showed up at a local hospital.
This incident was reported shortly before 6:00 p.m. from the 1800 block of Wilcox Boulevard, according to Hamilton County's 911 call log.
Police confirm the victim, a 20-year-old validated gang member, showed up at a local hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The victim told police he was shot by a black man in a black hoodie. Police say the victim gave multiple locations when asked where the shooting happened.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in a cab.
This is the third shooting reported to CPD Tuesday.

The day began with an early morning robbery on East 36th Street that sent a man to the hospital with a gunshot wound. A second shooting was reported to CPD around 2:45 p.m. from Rossville Boulevard. Police say a 21-year-old man was shot once while walking down an unknown alley.

Police have not said if any of the incidents are related.
