WASHINGTON (News Sentinel) -
Sen. Bob Corker is one of four finalists to become President-elect Donald Trump’s secretary of state, one of Trump’s senor advisers said Friday.
Kellyanne Conway, who managed Trump’s presidential campaign, said during an interview with Fox News that the Tennessee Republican is on Trump’s short list for the job, along with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
“We publicly have said there are probably four people right now that have been the narrowed down choices,” Conway said. “That includes Gen. [David] Petraeus and Sen. Bob Corker from Tennessee. Obviously, Governor Romney’s still in the mix. People have been talking about Mayor Giuliani.”
