2 shot on Vance Avenue in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

UPDATE: Two people were injured in a shooting Sunday night. It happened on Vance Avenue.

Police responded to a robbery and found 2 males with gunshot wounds. The two victims, Rigoberto Salvador-Morales and Celso Perez, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Chattanooga Police say the two victims were sitting in a parked vehicle, when 2 males approached and fired shots, first at the passenger, and then at the driver. A wallet and cell phone were taken by the suspects.

This incident is being investigated by the Violent Crimes Bureau. If you have any information about this event, call 698-2525.

    Early Wednesday morning, a fire damaged a home in Hamilton County.
