Good Wednesday. A front in west Tennessee is bringing some drenching rain to Memphis back into Arkansas, but that is where most of the rain will stay. that front will remain stationary to our west through this afternoon. Ahead of the front clouds and warm air will filter in. Temps will climb to a mild 66 this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies.
This evening into tonight we will see the front finally passing through. It will bring some light rain showers to the area. Rainfall amounts will be light, around 1/10". Even with the light rain, streets could still be a bit slick in some areas. If you want to make sure you miss the rain, head to your Thanksgiving destination this morning or early afternoon and you should be fine unless you are heading west. Then you may run into the line of rain in west Tennessee.
We may see some of those sprinkles linger into Thanksgiving morning. By the afternoon the rain chance will be gone, but we will still be warm and cloudy. Temps will range from 51 in the morning to a toasty 68 in the afternoon.
Friday will still be warm with partly cloudy skies and a high of 65.
The weekend will be cool and pleasant. Lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s and highs will stay right around 60 degrees.
Looking ahead to next week, we will have another front that right now looks like it may bring some heavy rain to the area by Tuesday afternoon. Here's hoping.
