Jason Lamkin has been identified as the victim. The sister of the victim told police that she had received a phone call from the roommate and coworker of Lamkin. She said the roommate/coworker, identified as Nicholas Sloan, told her he dropped off Lamkin’s body at the East Ridge High School parking lot.

Sloan told police that he drove Lamkin to meet with another person to purchase some pills. When the two were driving back to their apartment, Sloan said he noticed Lamkin was unresponsive, and proceeded to drop Lamkin’s body off at the high school.
