Good Monday. It is a smoky and hazy Monday as wildfires continue to pop up around the Tennessee Valley. Folks with breathing issues should certainly limit your outdoor activities, but everyone will be breathing in a little smoke today if you are out and about.
If it were not for the smoke and extreme drought, we would be basking in a beautiful day. Skies will be sunny this afternoon as the high reaches a comfortably 75 degrees. We will be cool and clear tonight with a smoky low of 45 heading into Tuesday morning. As you head to the polls Tuesday you may also be dealing with some smoke. We will also be a bit cooler with a high of 70. Clouds will be building Tuesday and Tuesday night it will be mostly cloudy. A front will be pressing through although I don't expect any significant rain with it. The rain chance is less than 20% Tuesday night. The overnight low will drop to 45 by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will be much cooler. Skies will be sunny and the high will climb to only 65 which is about average for this time of year.
