Former UT WR Preston Williams lands at Colorado State

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Former Tennessee Volunteer, Preston Williams tweeted Sunday that he will be transferring to Colorado State. 

Williams was a 4-star recruit from Hampton, Georgia and left UT in October after the Texas A&M game. Williams had 16 catches for 247 yards with two touchdowns for the Vols in two seasons. The wide receiver will have to sit out the rest of this season and 2017 due to transfer rules. 

Colorado State's Head Coach is former Georgia Offensive Coordinator, Mike Bobo. Bobo is in his second season at CSU and has a 5-4 record for the Rams.
