Good Thursday. We didn't quite break a record yesterday, but we got close enough with a high of 81. The record was 84. We will have another chance today. I am forecasting a high of 82 which would tie the record. An approaching front will give us increasing cloud cover through the afternoon.
Tonight we may see a passing shower or two as the front moves through. By Friday morning any light showers will have moved through and we will see clearing skies and cooler weather moving in. We will start our Friday with a low of 58. Friday afternoon will sport a much cooler and pleasant high of 74. Skies will be sunny Friday afternoon.
The weekend will feel great. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s. Lows will be in the mid-40s. Skies will be sunny and dry all weekend.
Next week we will settle into a routine that will give us lows in the mid to upper 40s and highs in the mid-70s through at least Thursday. Unfortunately, our wildfire risk will remain extremely high, and we will see no significant rain during that time period.
