Good Wednesday. We had a record high of 86 yesterday. That was the warmest high temperature ever recorded in Chattanooga for the month of November. I expect us to hit a record-tying high for today's date this afternoon with the high reaching 84.
Thursday we will have clouds building through the day. We will still be warm with a high of 82. That would tie the record as well. During the late afternoon and evening, a cold front moving through will produce a few light showers, but don't expect much. Rainfall amounts will range from a light trace to .25" in some isolated spots.
Friday is when the cooler air begins to settle in. We will start with a low of 52 in Chattanooga. Skies will clear out, and the afternoon will be sunny with a high of 71 (still a bit above the average high of 68).
Saturday will be mostly sunny. The day will start in the low 40s, and we will get to 71 Saturday afternoon also. Sunday will be much the same, though maybe a degree or two warmer in the afternoon.
The first half of next week will see cool mornings in the mid-40s, and comfortable highs in the mid-70s.
