Bradley Central's wings were clipped without their stud under center by top ranked Maryville on Thursday night, 48-21.
Bears' Quarterback Cole Copeland is sidelined with a separated shoulder, Dylan Standifer filled in for Bradley Central who was down 34-0 before scoring their first of three touchdowns.
Without Copeland the Bears relied on a running game that failed to gain any steam. Bradley closes the regular season at Hardin Valley on October 28.
Copeland may be back for the first week of the playoffs, but that would be more of a best case scenario.
