Near record warmth. Rain, cooler weather late this week.

Posted: Updated:

Good Monday.  We will start the week with insanely warm air that will keep our afternoons temperatures at near record levels.  The record for today is 89 degrees.  We will get to 86 with mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday will be our best chance of hitting record levels.  The average Tuesday is also 89, and I am forecasting a high of 88 under partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday we will top out at 86 with clouds building through the day.

A cold front will finally move in Thursday.  We will hit 82 with mostly cloudy skies Thursday afternoon.  Thursday night the front will bring rain showers that will last through the day Friday.  Friday afternoon will be much cooler with the high only making it to 68!

Most of the rain will be gone by late Friday, but a remnant shower or two could last into early Saturday morning.  It will also be chilly on Saturday morning with lows in the upper 40s.  Saturday afternoon will be a bit breezy, but nice as the high gets to 70.

Sunday will be a perfect fall day.  We start with a low of 48, and climb to 72 with sunny skies in the afternoon.
