We have bad news for a couple of Hamilton County restaurants this week with two health inspection failures to report.
JC’s Family BBQ at 9070 Highway 58 in Harrison scored a 63, six points below the failing threshold of 69. The inspector found flies in the dishwashing area, dirty linens left on several surfaces, cleaning products stored too close to food and canned goods in bad condition.
Taco Roc at 6960 Lee Highway in Chattanooga didn’t fare much better with a 65. The inspector found flies and cockroaches, food uncovered in the coolers, pork and beef set to “steam well” to reheat, several dirty surfaces and no date marking on food products.
No north Georgia restaurants failed this week.
Several restaurants posted perfect scores of 100. Congratulations to:
Dos Bros, 2100 Hamilton Place Boulevard, Chattanooga
Mojo Burrito, 1800 Dayton Boulevard, Chattanooga
Bopcha, 8041 Hamilton Mill Drive, Chattanooga
Wendy’s, 5596 Hixson Pike, Hixson
