Chattanooga woman arrested for vehicular homicide

A Chattanooga woman is arrested for vehicular homicide in connection to a fatal accident that happened nearly eight months ago. 
Chattanooga Police say 24-year-old Chelsea Finnigan was drunk and texting while driving when she hit Elizabeth Bodaly. 
It happened in February on Bonny Oaks drive near Founders Way. 
Police say Finnigan crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into Bodaly. 
Bodaly died instantly and Finnigan was critically hurt at the time.

Finnigan is scheduled for arraignment, October 28, 2016.
