Vols LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin to have season ending surgery
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
Jalen Reeves- Maybin's college career is ending sooner than expected, due to shoulder surgery.
According to scout.com, the senior linebacker will have surgery in the next two weeks to repair a biceps subluxation in his left shoulder. Reeves-Maybin played in the Florida game but left early. The linebacker also traveled to Athens for the Georgia game last week, but did not suit up.
Reeves-Maybin piled up 240 tackles (149 solo), 27 tackles for loss, eight sacks, four pass breakups, four quarterback hurries and an interception in 41 games with Tennessse.
Reeves-Maybin was projected to be a first round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
