Tennessee fan roasts Texas A&M fan on Twitter with dose of American History

Posted: Updated:

One Tennessee fan managed to take American History and use it to own a Texas A&M fan on Twitter who was taking a shot at the Vols.

Here's how it played out. The explanation (if needed) will be below.

The response from this Tennessee fan is priceless.

Tennesseean James Polk was elected President of the United States in 1844. Under his watch war broke out between Mexico and the US. In 1846, America's troops were running low so the government made a call for nearly 3,000 Tennesseeans to join the fight, instead 30,000 Tennesseans answered the call, thus further solidifying the nickname "The Volunteer State."
