Athens Police said the woman was not injured and exited her car before the train crashed into it.

This second crash happened at the railroad crossing below 815 North Jackson Street. Police said a woman was driving her Toyota Prius across the tracks when she was blinded by the sun and drove off the road. One of her car tires got stuck in the railroad tracks.

Two witnesses approached the woman and told her a train was coming and she had to leave her car. She got out of her car before the train crashed into it.

The train collided with the car and pushed it off the tracks. No injuries were reported.
