The annual Hamilton County Fair kicks off the first official weekend of fall in the scenic city.
Head out to Chester Frost Park on Saturday, Sept. 24th, and Sunday, Sept. 25th for one of Chattanooga's most popular events.
Held each year on the last weekend of September, the Hamilton County Fair includes a day of fun for all ages. The fair features live music, food, crafts, exhibits, a petting zoo, rides, and more.
The Hamilton County Fair will run from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and officials say tickets will stop being sold at 4:00 p.m. each day.
Admission is free, but the shuttle to reach Chester Frost Park requires a small fee. Prices are $6 for adults, and $4 for children ages 3-12. Kids under three can ride the shuttle for free. Shuttle costs include transportation both to and from Chester Frost Park.
Shuttle buses will pick up fair-goers from the Northgate Mall, and from the Middle Valley Recreation Center.
