Good Sunday. Finally! We are looking at some beautiful rain moving through the Tennessee Valley helping (at least a little) with the extreme drought conditions. Showers and storms will be moving through with the front on and off through the day. That will keep our high this afternoon at about 82. That may sound cool, but it is actually the average high temperature for this time of year. This evening, any isolated showers and storms remaining will begin tapering off.
Monday we start the week with warm, but dry, weather. The high will rebound back to 89, but the humidity will be low so we will actually feel fairly comfortable through the day. Skies will be mostly sunny.
I expect much the same for the rest of the week. We may see the humidity tick up a little, but it will still be fairly dry each day as highs maintain a well above average level in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Fall begins Thursday. It won't feel like it. We will get to 90 Thursday afternoon.
