The Chattanooga Police Department volunteer chaplain corps will host a prayer vigil Monday night.
The chaplains hope to help those affected by violent crime in the city and to pay tribute to victims who lost their lives to violent crime this year in Chattanooga.
The vigil is open to anyone who would like to attend and starts at 6:00pm at the Southside Youth & Family Development Center on 1151 West 40th Street.
Hundreds gathered at Coolidge Park, protesting the violence that happened in Charlottesville Thursday night.
