If you're looking for a fun place to go this weekend, head to the Creative Discovery Museum for the 4th Annual Chocolate Festival.

The event kicks off at noon on September 10, 2016, and ends at 4:00 p.m.

The Chocolate Festival is a family-friendly event that includes an afternoon celebrating the history of, and science behind, chocolate.

"Chocolate is a universal joy for children and adults. What better way to enjoy chocolate than through an event completely devoted to it's lore and decadence?" says Creative Discovery Museum's Arts Manager, Liza Blair.

Guests will have a chance you create their own sweet treats, and, of course, chocolate will be the main ingredient.

The day will include a number of events such as: a chocolate pie eating contest, make-your-own decorative chocolate flowers, learn how different products are made using chocolate products, and you can even make your own lotion using cocoa butter.

All activities for the 4th Annual Chocolate Festival will be free with admission to the Creative Discovery Museum.
