Posted: Updated:

We have very pleasant weather ahead for tonight's football games and for the weekend! Meanwhile, Hermine continues to drench parts of the South.

Look for some high clouds to mix with sunshine Friday. It won't be as hot or humid with highs in the upper 80s. A few showers are possible in western North Carolina and northeast Georgia. Skies are mostly clear tonight with lows in the mid-60s, making for great football weather!

Fair skies continue through the weekend with highs in the upper 80s to 90°, lows in the 60s. Hermine will continue to produce heavy rain and strong winds from the Carolinas to the mid-Atlantic Saturday and Sunday.

Next week our weather turns a bit more muggy and warmer with highs in the lower 90s and a chance of showers/storms by Wednesday or Thursday.
