Good Monday. After the storms dropped 1" to 2" of rain in parts of the Tennessee Valley Sunday (as well as some trees) we are looking at a dry start to the week.
Today we will get up to 93 in the afternoon and it will be mostly sunny. We will be a bit humid, but humidity levels will actually be a touch lower this afternoon which you may notice.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be much the same. Highs will hover at 93 or 94 with a few clouds, but no rain.
Thursday a front will slide in. It could bring a few showers on and off through the day, but it doesn't look like much right now. We will have a high of 91 Thursday.
The big impact of this front will be some slightly cooler and drier air moving in Friday into the weekend. Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 90. The air will be much drier also. Dew points have been in the upper 60s and low 70s much of the summer (including now). They will drop to the upper 50s Friday behind that front, indicating much lower moisture levels in the air.
The weekend will be about the same. Mostly sunny skies will prevail with highs staying around 90.
