CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- Edgar Corcino hit a two-run triple in the fourth inning, leading the Chattanooga Lookouts to a 3-1 win over the Mississippi Braves on Saturday.

The triple by Corcino scored Ryan Walker and Travis Harrison to give the Lookouts a 2-0 lead.

After Chattanooga added a run in the sixth on a home run by Harrison, the Braves cut into the deficit in the ninth inning when Joey Meneses hit a solo home run.

Chattanooga starter Stephen Gonsalves (8-1) picked up the win after allowing just five hits over 5 2/3 scoreless innings. Opposing starter Patrick Weigel (0-2) took the loss in the Southern League game after allowing three runs and five hits over seven innings. Raul Fernandez recorded his fifth save of the season.

For the Braves, Meneses homered and singled.
